here's some perhaps cool stuff i've taken apart in or created:
be careful when seeing my name on places not listed here -- that user probably isn't me!
obligatory about me:
i've been making games since 5th grade. currently, i'm a freshman at university of utah studying software engineering with an emphasis in game design (tl;dr game development but i focus on programming more). my dream is to be able to pursue a career of making cool games with other people!
personally, in a team of game developers, i would like to take on the role of being the one to design & develop user interface, and improve user experience. i personally believe that UI is such a powerful but undervalued part of games. it's one of those things that, it only really receives the spotlight if it's bad. i mean, do we really see game reviewers going "look at how good their UI is!"? probably not so much. chances are, it's more gonna be about how good the art is, how immersive the story is, etc. but, if you have interfaces that are completely unusable, that's when it receives the "literally unplayable" treatment. so my goal -- i want to help development teams make UI that both work and is aesthetically pleasing. i would like to contribute clean interfaces to the gaming community, because players should be having fun, and not trying to work their way around clunky menus.

also if you're wondering why my username sounds like some cringe ahh 2016 gaming youtuber name, it's because i made it up when i was like 2 nanoseconds old and now i'm too lazy to change it
